Isabel Lineberry is a Junior Agent & Rights Administrator at Pérez Literary & Entertainment where she is building a list across children’s and adult fiction, specifically in romance and fantasy areas. She holds an MLitt in Fantasy from the University of Glasgow as well as a BS in Business Entrepreneurship and a BA in English Literature, both from Arizona State University.
Industry Arena Information: The role of an agent
In this workshop, we’ll explore what a literary agent brings to the table, the different types of agents and agent-author relationships, the green and red flags to look for when researching an agency, and what the day-to-day relationship between author and agent really looks like.
